The way I want it

A poetic confession

Why won't
You
Things
Be
The way I want
Pliable
To what I feel is right

Clearly...

I am.

But you have your own opinion
As you should
How strongly you cling to it..

Almost as fervently as I clasp mine

Wills colliding
Taking sides
No steps backward
Or long relaxing strides
Only crashing cymbals
Clashing love

(...and I know.. that this all stems from hurt.. but it is buried so deep, evading words and explanations.. inaccessible) And so..

It feels so clichéd
When the rising of brows
Makes me feel Like exploding
The force
Sending you up
Past
the highest clouds

Maybe,
for some perspective
